Product Overview
A572 Gr.50 is a micro-alloyed structural grade: niobium and vanadium plus controlled rolling and cooling refine the grain so yield strength lands between 345 and 450 MPa, roughly 40% above A36. On a long span member that means a thinner section carries the same load and the structure gets lighter. Quenched and tempered stock is available where verified low temperature impact toughness is required, which suits members carrying dynamic and fatigue loading.

Applications
Specified for main girders and cross beams of long span steel bridges, crane girders in heavy fabrication shops, rail beams for port gantry cranes, boiler steel frames in power plants and ring beams for large tanks. Recent export work covers river bridges in Southeast Asia, conveyor support frames at African mining sites and platforms inside Middle East petrochemical plants.
Packing / Delivery / Payment
Shipped bare in straps, with long lengths braced in timber crates to prevent transport deformation; a 20GP holds about 20-22 tons. Rolling lead time is 30-40 days, plus 7-10 days for quenched and tempered material. Payment by L/C at sight or T/T with 30% deposit. We issue EN 10204 3.2 witnessed mill certificates, SGS third-party reports, packing list and Certificate of Origin, with ultrasonic test reports on request.
