Service FAQ
What is your minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
For most products the MOQ is 25 tons or 1 x 20GP container, whichever is more practical for the product and the mill’s rolling schedule. Small trial orders can sometimes be consolidated into an existing production run, so it is worth asking even for a small first order. Send us your required grade and quantity for a quotation.
Can you send samples before I place an order?
Yes. We provide free small samples of most products — steel plate, pipe, wire, fasteners and coated sheet — with the buyer covering courier cost. Sample lead time is usually 5–7 days. Tell us the product, grade and size you want to test.
What payment terms do you accept?
Our standard terms are 30% T/T deposit with the balance against a copy of the B/L, or an irrevocable L/C at sight for larger orders. For repeat and long-term buyers we can discuss open-account terms. Tell us the order value and we will confirm the workable terms for your case.
How long does production and delivery take?
Typical lead time is 15–30 days for stock items and 25–45 days for mill-production orders, plus ocean transit. Transit time depends on the destination port — for example, about 20–30 days to West Africa and 12–20 days to Southeast Asia. Send us the quantity and destination port and we will give you a firm date.
Do you provide third-party inspection and shipping documents?
Yes. We arrange SGS, BV or TUV inspection on request and provide the full document set — MTC, certificate of origin, packing list, commercial invoice and B/L. If your bank or customs needs a specific document format, send us the requirement and we will match it.
Steel Product FAQ
Which steel grades and standards can you supply?
We supply grades under Chinese (GB), Japanese (JIS), American (ASTM/AISI) and European (EN/DIN) standards, and can match equivalents between them. Common examples are Q235B / SS400 / A36, Q355B / S355JR / A572 Gr.50, and HRB400 / Gr.60 / B500B. Send us the grade or standard on your drawing and we will confirm the exact equivalent.
How do I know which grade to order if my drawing uses a different standard?
Use our Steel Standards cross-reference table, then confirm with us in writing. Equivalents are close on strength but can differ on chemistry and impact testing, so we always confirm the exact grade, tolerance and test requirement before quoting. Send us the drawing and we will identify the matching grade.
What surface treatments are available?
Depending on the product, we offer hot-dip galvanized (GI), pre-painted galvanized (PPGI), black / mill finish, oil-coated and checkered finishes. Zinc coating weight can be specified — Z120, Z180 and Z275 are the most common. Tell us the coating and the environment (coastal, humid, indoor) and we will recommend a coating weight.
What thickness and size tolerances should I expect?
Tolerances follow the standard you order to — for example, EN 10025 and ASTM A6 set different thickness tolerances for plate, and JIS G3302 sets galvanized-sheet tolerance. If your project needs tighter-than-standard tolerance, tell us up front; it can usually be arranged but must be agreed before production. Send the spec and we will confirm what is achievable.
What is the difference between hot rolled and cold rolled steel?
Hot rolled steel is rolled above the recrystallisation temperature: it is cheaper, has a rougher surface and looser tolerance, and suits structural and heavy work. Cold rolled steel is further rolled at room temperature: it is thinner, smoother, stronger in the same thickness, and suits panels, appliances and precision parts. Tell us the application and we will advise which one fits.
How is galvanized coating weight measured, and what do I need?
Coating weight is measured in g/m² (grams per square metre, both sides total) or as coating thickness in µm. Z275 means 275 g/m², roughly 19 µm per side. For outdoor and coastal use in humid markets, Z275 or higher is usually recommended; for indoor use, Z120 may be enough. Send us the intended use and we will specify the coating.
Fasteners FAQ
What grades of bolts and nuts do you supply?
We supply grade 4.8, 8.8 and 10.9 bolts with matching nuts and washers, in hex, carriage and structural (HV/HR) types, under GB/T, DIN, ANSI and ASTM standards. Grade 8.8 is the most common for structural connections. Tell us the grade and standard you need.
What coatings are available on fasteners?
Hot-dip galvanized (HDG), electro-zinc plated (white or yellow), black oxide and Dacromet are all available. Choose HDG for outdoor and coastal structures, zinc plating for general use. Send us the application and we will recommend the coating.
Can you supply fasteners to a specific standard or drawing?
Yes. We produce to GB/T, DIN, ISO, ANSI and ASTM, and to customer drawings for non-standard items. Please send the standard number, size, grade and coating so we can quote accurately, and include a drawing if it is a special part.
Do fasteners come with test certificates?
Yes. Fasteners can be supplied with a mill or manufacturer test certificate covering material, hardness and (for structural bolts) tensile and proof-load testing. Third-party SGS or BV testing is available on request. Tell us what your client or inspector requires.
Machine Equipment FAQ
What is a cold roll forming machine used for?
A cold roll forming machine bends steel coil into a continuous profiled section — roofing sheets, wall panels, purlins, C and Z sections, studs and trims. We supply complete lines including decoiler, forming station, cutting unit and control cabinet. Tell us the profile you want to produce and we will recommend the line.
What power supply do the machines require?
Our standard machines run on 380 V / 50 Hz / 3-phase, and we can configure for 220 V, 415 V or 440 V and 60 Hz for different countries. Please confirm your local power supply before ordering so the motors and control system are built correctly. Send us your voltage and frequency.
Do you provide installation and training?
For most lines we provide an English installation manual and operation video, plus remote video support. For larger lines we can send an engineer to your site for installation and operator training — travel and accommodation at the buyer’s cost. Tell us where the machine will be installed and we will plan the support.
What warranty and spare parts support do you offer?
Machines carry a 12-month warranty on the main structure and core components, with a full spare-parts list supplied at delivery. Common wear parts — cutting blades, bearings, forming rollers — are stocked for fast dispatch. Tell us the machine model and we will confirm the warranty and spare parts.
Can you build a machine for a custom profile or drawing?
Yes. Send us the profile drawing, material thickness and required speed, and we will design the roll tooling and confirm the machine configuration and price. Custom lines usually take 30–45 days to produce. Share your drawings for a firm quotation.
Need a Quotation for Your Project?
