Product Overview
The I beam keeps the classic 1:6 taper on the inside of the flange and a relatively heavy web, which suits pure bending and makes it lighter per metre than an H beam of the same height – so it is usually the cheapest section that will do the job. It is rolled in one pass to JIS G3192 tolerances, with web height and flange width held tight enough for the fabricator to drill and assemble straight off the delivery truck.
