Product Overview
Equal angle has legs of the same width and thickness meeting at a true 90 degrees, rolled in a single hot pass from a billet with no weld seam. It is the most universal connecting and load-bearing section: stiffer than flat bar, cheaper than channel, and easy to pair back-to-back or star-to-star into a T or cross section. Drilling, cutting and welding need no special tooling, and the plain finish can be hot dip galvanized or painted to order.

Applications
Widely used for cross arms and diagonals on transmission line towers, platform supports on telecom masts, solar mounting rails, truss web members in factories, racking uprights, highway guardrails and site fencing. On grid reinforcement projects in Africa and Southeast Asia, angle steel accounts for more than 60% of tower weight.
Packing / Delivery / Payment
Shipped bare in 2-3 ton bundles with steel straps and timber dunnage; a 20GP holds about 24-26 tons. Stock ships in 7-15 days, rolling orders in 25 days, and galvanizing adds 10-15 days. Payment by L/C at sight or T/T with 30% deposit. Mill certificate, zinc coating test report, packing list and Certificate of Origin are supplied.
