Product Overview
This is a heavy duty steel structure workshop designed around the crane and the process inside it rather than a standard shed. The portal frame is built from hot rolled H beam columns and rafters sized for the span and for the crane load, and where the crane runs the columns carry a stepped bracket supporting a runway beam of H beam or a built up plate girder. All field connections are grade 10.9 high strength bolted, and the columns land on anchor bolts set from our foundation drawing, so erection proceeds without site welding. Roof and wall can be single skin colour sheet or sandwich panel, with translucent sheets or ridge ventilators for daylight and airflow.

Applications
Used for manufacturing workshops with overhead cranes, steel and machinery fabrication halls, concrete product plants, combined warehouse and workshop buildings, vehicle repair shops and power plant turbine halls. Project buyers in the Middle East, Africa and South America order the complete package including anchor drawings, so local contractors only pour the foundation.
Packing / Delivery / Payment
Members are marked and packed in erection sequence, with main steel strapped bare and bolts, anchors and fittings in wooden cases, loaded in 40HQ containers or break bulk; a 20GP holds about 22-25 tons.
