Product Overview
Rectangular hollow section, or RHS, starts as strip that is roll formed and high frequency welded and then sized to a rectangular section with radiused corners. Because the two axes differ, a rectangular tube carries much more bending about its strong axis than a square tube of the same weight, which is exactly what a trailer chassis, a bed frame or a machine guard needs. The internal weld flash is scarfed off so there is no stress raiser inside the wall, the wall tolerance is held within +/-10%, and both mill finish and pre-galvanized or hot dip galvanized stock are available.

Applications
Used for trailer and truck chassis, container flatbed frames, machine bases and guards, pallet racking beams, agricultural implements, solar mounting, mezzanine flooring and architectural handrails. Fabricators in Africa, the Middle East and South America buy it cut to drawing length for trailers and steel furniture, while racking makers order pre-galvanized 50×100 and 100×200.
Packing / Delivery / Payment
