Product Overview
HRB400E is hot rolled deformed bar with a seismic grade suffix. Besides a 400 MPa minimum yield it must show a tensile-to-yield ratio of at least 1.25 and a uniform elongation at maximum force of 9% or more, which is what makes a structure yield and harden rather than snap in a strong earthquake. The surface is crescent ribbed and carries the mill mark and grade rolled into the bar for traceability on site.

Applications
Used for beam, column and slab reinforcement in high rise buildings, basements and shear walls, bridge piers and box girders, municipal utility tunnels and hydraulic or port concrete structures. Housing and infrastructure projects in Africa and Southeast Asia use HRB400E as standard, and exports usually need SONCAP certification or third-party mechanical re-testing.
Packing / Delivery / Payment
Shipped bare in 2-3 ton bundles, steel strapped with a tag showing heat number and size. A 20GP holds about 25 tons of 12 m bar, with better utilisation on 6 m and 9 m lengths, and we can also deliver pre-cut and bent to drawing. Lead time is 20-30 days. Payment by L/C at sight or T/T with 30% deposit. EN 10204 3.1 mill certificate, mechanical and bend test reports, SONCAP certificate, packing list and Certificate of Origin are supplied.
