Product Overview
Cold rolled narrow strip is produced by slitting a cold rolled mother coil to width on a precision slitter and rewinding it under tension, so the coil stays tight and the edges are square and deburred. Burr height is held under 0.05 mm and the edge is either slit or rolled, which matters when the strip feeds a high speed progressive die or is formed and welded into tube. The uncoated smooth surface takes paint or nickel plating directly, and the tight width tolerance lets a stamping shop skip a trimming operation.

Applications
Fed into progressive dies for washers, brackets, hinges, clips and electrical contacts, and formed and welded into small diameter tube for furniture, umbrellas, bicycle rims and cable conduit. Hardware and stamping plants in Vietnam, Thailand, Poland and Mexico buy narrow strip by the container, usually to a fixed width with deburred edges so it goes straight onto the press.
Packing / Delivery / Payment
Coils ship eye to sky or eye to wall, wrapped in VCI paper with a steel or plastic band and packed on pallets or in wooden boxes to stop edge damage; a 20GP holds about 22-25 tons. Stock widths ship in 15-20 days and slitting orders in 25-30 days. Payment by L/C at sight or T/T with 30% deposit. EN 10204 3.1 mill certificate, thickness and burr inspection report, packing list and Certificate of Origin are provided.
